I watched Olympics rugby last night for a minute, US vs Uruguay. Don't know the rules but they seem to be like wrestling plus a ball and the players have watched basketball and modern dance or ballet. Scoring is on a bravado scale. Fouls are assigned by lottery or caprice; hard to tell from one game. A little smattering of Calvin Ball over everything.

@NoahPaulLeGies True. I'd put up with one if the system was pretty frictionless, the data stayed in my possession (they state this is the case). I'm seeing more camera products on the market with object detection baked in the firmware, i.e.; no cloud AI/ML needed. The rest of the analysis software would need to be hefty but I can imagine it happening on a PC.🤔

I don't need this product because I am young and fair with an impeccable memory*. Just interested from a technical standpoint and note this could finally be a use case for Google Glass (RIP) or Microsoft Holo lens (RIP), or...?

@BrentSullivan I know the Saudis are investing massively (as they do) in solar. Can't tell what Exxon, Shell, BP, etc are up to other than lobbying and buying fancy dinners. Always possible they have an actual transition plan of some sort. Not one I like; China has cornered the market on solar panel manufacturing; theirs cost a third of US-made and half of Singapore's.

@LlamaMountainStudioArts yep. I use it. It will interfere/disable some apps. I go into its settings and decide case by case. Whatever I do, it asks for comments so they can fine-tune. Been mainly happy with it. Google is a frequent offender.
