@ecksmc on mobile ddg is my default browser. I used ff until the big redesign some years ago. Should probably try Focus
@b4cks4w never been a fan of ddg browser
I have several browsers on mobile Firefox focus is the one I use for opening links from SM sites mainly its fast and reliable and wipes everything once closed - Cromite is another good privacy focused browser with loads of extra settings like set proxy - ad block lists - add custom filter lists - "sec-GPC" setting controls right to opt-out of selling/sharing of data(only states under CCPA & CPRA though) and more
Sidenote; on android use URL check

That way you can click a link from within apps and pick what browser you wanna open link in
Set URL check as default browser - it has some neat modules also to keep you safe
@b4cks4w yeah on my Chromebook I have lite version and original version set as search engines with shortcuts via chrome settings - search engines - then via address bar I can ddg [tab] for original ddg or lddg [tab] for lite version input query [enter] get result
On mobile in certain browsers i have lite ddg set as default search engine others i use original ddg
