@Kurtroedeger so let me get this straight. At the restaurant where hot food is made at the table on a hot stove thing, which is the entire point of the establishment, the hot stove thing is not a good place to put my phone?! What about my hand? Can I put my hand on it?
@MLClark yes.
@estherschindler Corona/Keyhole was wild. Sure let's drop film cans FROM SPACE and recover them in-air. Easy.
@EileenKCarpenter @AlphaCentauri ijits didn't vet that with industry either. The weather service is responsible for a massive piece of the GNP. Fed Ex doesn't work w/o the NWS. Airlines. Agriculture.
Almost nothing does. All the commercial weather services are founded on NWS data. Ijits
@voltronic hex ftw. Hose fittings can get really sticky too, for which I don't have a good answer and a lot of bad ones (e.g. cut them off)
@voltronic I have a different approach which is to use whatever set I have to hand and wrap a rag around the object. $.02 Good luck, curious to see what you find.
@mcfate absolutely refuses to read a single damned book yet somehow ended up wealthy
@Treebugz Well done. I look forward to the day I stop looking at clocks
@danialexis going to need you to post something every half second or so. When you don't I'll prepare for the End
@RetiredLEexec @corlin wow you're from the future
Huh. Browsed to time.gov and there's a widget that says my device's clock is off by -0.716 seconds
What's that about, it's synced to a time service. Network lag? Am I red shifting?
What's it say for you?

"United States informed Germany that the Russian government had a plan to kill Armin Papperger, the head of Rheinmetall. In February, Rheinmetall announced an agreement with a Ukrainian company to manufacture artillery shells in Ukraine."
Rain for real, nice. Flash flood warning -- okay less good. But: RAIN!
