I hate that I'm so used to the electoral college I hardly even get outraged by it anymore. It's such an idiotic system. We criticize other countries' elections, but is there any other country where you can lose the election and still win?

But at 3am, I heard him stirring and checked on him. He was sitting by his empty food bowl. And he meowed at me. So I held an open can of food for him to sniff, and he dove in, trying to scarf it up. So I gave him a regular meal portion and he eagerly ate it all. And ate eagerly at breakfast.

He also let me hold him for a couple of minutes. And now he and Anna are curled up together.

You will never see me with passion saying Merry Christmas or Happy Holidays. This little guy passed away on December 29th 4 years ago. People say that I must get over this, but half of me belonged to this little guy. How fast time flies and how I miss him. Sad days to me (leaving aside that I miss my grandparents too). Hard days indeed. Will I see the light one day?
