Somewhere in the early hours, I saw an avi go past in the firehose that reminded me of an online friend who has passed away. It's been a few years, but the pang was pretty sharp.

The people I befriend online are real to me. Maybe that's foolish--there are critics of same--but it's true.

I’ve lost count but I think this is the 8th time I’ve knit this shawl? I use different colors every time but the yarn is a fractal spin with beautiful color changes so even I used the same colors, the results would still be different.
