While I'd like them to do it sooner rather than later every day of delay actually works in my favour and as I'm currently signed off work by my Dr in the main due to the stress caused by the appalling way this organisational change has been (mis) managed I'm not currently at work so don't have to deal with the ongoing bin fire. It's all a bit depressing tbh but at least I've not been sleeping on the office floor...

If you do not have 2FA enabled for your account, you should enable it ASAP. (You should use 2FA on all your accounts anyway.)
Settings > Security and Account Access > Security > Two Factor Authentication
Also, de-authorize any third-party apps you have previously granted access.
Settings > Security and Account Access > Apps and Sessions > Connected Apps
Have you tried an export from a PDF writer rather than a direct import?
Probably not in the UK though :(
