As a standalone movie that is absolutely true.
But the Marvel movies interconnect and because there are and have been changes in the larger story, Blade has been getting banged around a good bit.
On top of that, the original scripts were not deemed to be good enough.
Any fool can write a story, but a good story is a lot of work even for the best writers.
And they don't feel a bit Obliged.

Interesting how Houston is a bit less blue than the Dallas area, percentage-wise, yet we have more democrats running here unopposed and fewer republicans running unopposed.

At the time I had people on FB trying to tell me the entire city was "destroyed" by the protests.
They sincerely believed it because that was how Fox painted Portland.
Their outrage, however misguided, was understandable. I would be outraged if some red town got destroyed.
It is super hard to get people to think about how propaganda works if it is being applied to themselves.

I heard Nick Fury lied and it was actually Kamala who started the Avengers...
So what was glaring on my ballot, was the single republican running unopposed in one race. There are normally several running unopposed where I could vote for them.
On top of that, there were several races where democrats ran unopposed. Something I don't normally see here.
Perhaps, a sign of change here in Texas?
