I had a great firearms instructor.
In one class he pointed that if someone is determined to shoot up a place, the guy dressed like meal team six is basically wearing a sign that says, "Shoot me first!"

@QueenOfEverything There are no more "media" organizations, they're all dead. No entities exist to provide neutral reporting anymore - only corporate entertainment conglomerates that seek to "drive engagement" through hyperbole and stoking of emotions, that they can use as data points when selling consumer data and advertising time.

Yeah. About the time high school and college students started protesting against Vietnam and for Civil Rights.

The powers that be decided that maybe teaching them Civics was a bad idea so that stopped happening.

Some individual schools still did but most of them had given it up entirely by the '80s.
