I just wish I knew how much the creatine is playing a factor. Like I said. Definitely not frustrated. Because if it's helping my pain and I'm not sucking down aspirin/ibuprofen, I'll def take some of that water weight.
I also know a few things I ate this week played a factor. I'm not gonna give up things I like and I am using moderation but I'm sure a late night McDonald's run didn't help matters πππ
Ok official weigh in complete
Starting: 244 (8/4)
Today: 233. (Down 1 from last week)
Not what I was hoping for BUT I read supplementing with creatine can add-2-4 pounds of water weight (2%) I could "potentially" be between 229-231....no way of knowing for certain unless I stopped supplementing.
it does help w/ my pain, that's not going to happen . I see difference in the mirror (down one pants size. 38 -> 36) so if it only shows I'm down 1 it's eh. Didn't gain. Definitely not frustrated
Geesh going into Sunday already? When I wake up it'll be weigh in time. Target was 229 (from 234). I know I've leaned out based on my pants slipping a little bit and tightening of belt so as far as Im concerned I won already. And I gotta remember I am supplementing with creatine (it's helping tremendously with my knee pain) so im gonna have up to 2% water weight due to it. But we shall see .
Goodnight! #weightlossjourney
Weight journey update. Woke up this morning dreading the day (leg day...if anything this is the workout day I'm not a fan of. Just give me an upper body workout and I'm happy π€£ but gotta look proportionate!) anyways I slapped on my pants and the dropped a little. Normal for most part (in my case since by noon I widen out a lil bit for some reason) then I put on my belt. Here's the not normal part. I had to drop it 2 notches. I apparently dropped a pants size over the last 3 weeks
@Ironworker229 facts. But I'm planning on taking this to the house. Ive tried to get motivated before to lose but I'd lose interest . I think I'm in the right mindset now.
@Ironworker229 so now I lost 15 of the 20 gained but i think if I wasn't supplementing(I'm using creatine to help the pain in my knee and to save what muscle I do have) that other 5 would be gone . But it's more about leaning than losing at this point. I'd love to be 175-180 but if I can put on some muscle I'll totally be satisfied with 190-200. Not looking to get jacked (I would of said different when I was still in college) but if I look fit. It's def a win
@Ironworker229 it's funny what started this whole thing. I quit my ft job in May because I was hired by school district so I assumed I was going to be working summer school. Keep in mind I was still "overweight" but the weight never went up or down in 25 years. Well my finger prints came back late so I ended up having the summer off and for the first time gained 20 lbs. The realization came I needed to do something when I realized I'll be going up/down stairs for 8 hours and didn't wanna die
@LnzyHou i still got a ways to go. my target is 175 and im at 234 but i can already see me leaning so im pretty sure im somehow managing to add muscle at same time (i can see it in mirror. im not jacked but from a posture standpoint im finally standing more straight than i ever have) so i figure 190-200 should be where im at once its all said and done (factoring in muscle gain) because i dont wanna look lean and look "sick" if that makes sense
@LnzyHou thats fantastic!!
@Klaatu_Veratta_Nectarine yeah for me thats huge. no pun intended
So a first happened today... we all know about my weight loss journey. well today i go to the coffee shop and they have church benches for chairs (the owner is big into an antique look) and for last 10 years everytime as i get into the bench i bump the table. for the first time in 10 years i didnt bump the table. doesnt sound like a big deal but hell, for me thats definitely an accomplishment!
@POOetryma def not rushing. It took me a while to gain the weight I know it's gonna take work to get it off. But setting a weekly goal will at least keep me focused. If I get close to what target weekly weight is (anything under 232) it's a success
Down another 3lbs
Starting: 248 lbs
Week 1: 237
Week 2 234
Next week setting a target of 229
Few f bombs dropped at the gym today. I really REALLY hate leg day
On the bright side I sneak peaked my weight today (I normally only look on Sundays) but curiosity got this cat. I'm tryig to not get too excited because weight fluctuates and who knows what Sunday will be....BUT if this holds...IF THIS HOLDS..I'll be f' ecstatic!
Dumb question for my photographer friends. Because im getting an answer completely different from the question I asked on a other platform I'm hoping someone can answer here
I'm looking at a newwer V2 flash for my camera since it's on sale & I want to update my flashes . That said has anyone used this particular flash and if so what are your thoughts. There's alot to like about it but when I google for reviews it's pretty much good luck!
Please don't push godox on me! I'm not looking at those!
I'm very a.d.d. in the gym. I tend to need a little. It if structure or I'm like a lost puppy. I came across the "fitbod" app which they are billing as an AI trainer and generates your workouts, weight settings yadda yadda yadda . And compared to an actual trainer this is affordable. That said has anyone used the app and if so what are your thoughts
