Hey CoSo I'm posting this here because I know you'll guys appreciate this. I totally came across this by accident. It apparently came out in 2010. Faruzia Balk which we know from The Craft and The Waterboy dabbled a little in music as well. I hope you all love it as much as I did. Wow. Lemme know what y'all think youtu.be/ltOD3OQzRis

Ok coso. I'm going here. What's your opinion of this. I literally just came across it 5 min ago and I don't know what to make of it 😂

The illusion albums I literally gravitate more towards than AFD. There's just too much going on in that artwork. I think it's amazing art BUT it doesn't trigger anything except that's pretty cool whereas the illusions trigger an emotion

Hey coso I got a serious question for you. I bought a book called "rock covers, 750 album that made history"
I'm flipping through it and some bands have multiple covers listed. Ok cool.
But, regardless of what you feel about the band, I think GNR had some historic covers. Only AFD was mentioned (the robot rape cover) but I think all the albums should have been mentioned. I thought the concept of the LIES album was creative and the Illusion albums are eerily striking.

Not too many songs truly resonate with me. Some manage to bring out an emotion but too fully resonate it takes a lot. From my early teens to my late 20s it was all about Guns N Roses. After that bands came in my life and left. since my mid 30s Arch Enemy has been hitting those chords.A little old to get into "death metal" but between the melodies and the lyrics they fall in the GNR camp and have a fan for life. This song, I think describes where I'm at now

You cant quit until you try
You cant live until you die
You cant tell the truth until you learn to lie
I was waiting for the hearst
What came next was so much worse
It took a funeral to make me feel alive
"Life is beautiful"--Sixx Am

So wander down the ancient hallway
Taking each stair a step at a time
Follow the sound of my heartbeat now
I'm in the room at the top you're at the end of the line

I just had a proud uncle moment. Y'all know I mention my 5 yr old nephew from time to time and y'all also know he lives with me. Well he's pretty much only known my 80s metal music as far as that genre goes. Anyways I was watching my favorite current band Arch Enemy. A hell of a lot heavier than say Motley Crue or GNR. He goes Uncle Timmy who are they? They kick butt and he decided to start banging his head 😁😁 I didn't expect that!

Furniture rearranged today and came across this. Haven't played this in at least 23 years

This guy puts out some amazing covers. Stuff you wouldn't think would work actually does
