So, the PlayStation network is down, everywhere...

Global outages....are not a good thing.

There are two types of people in this world;

Those that use their name for the game save file.

Those that name the save file Asss

For the better part of 4 years, I have played, opportune word here is played this game and had much joy with it. With this expansion though, the playing feels a whole lot like working.

MMO's are a time sink, but this feels a whole lot like the playing is meant to be labor. It's time to check out.

may be the most abysmal follow-up title I have ever played in my near 40 years playing .

It is nothing but empty overworlds, cringe-inducing dialogue and chains of the worst mini games I may have ever played.

I, refuse to buy the conclusion, I do not care. I'll watch let's plays than ever sit through torture again.

1 out of 10, do not buy the hype.

is, fine.

Look, if there's one thing I'm proud of is I don't fawn over things and ignore my critical reasoning skills. The framerate on PS5 in quality mode is jerky and looks fuzzy and drab in performance mode.

Combat balance is a mess just like the first game and like every FF game, it's more movie than game. I've only put about 3 hours in and 70% of that is cutscene.

Will I enjoy it? Probably, but it isn't some Messianic release in video game history.

are so overpriced now at least at launch, that I've resigned myself to waiting for months later when they package everything together and at a steep discount.

It's getting to a point now that being broken at launch isn't a problem because the cost is prohibitive for loads of consumers and they ain't buying it until later any ways.

I do not get the appeal of Roguelikes. I have never understood why when tied to story elements should I care about the mechanics beyond clearing the story.

I am playing God of War Valhalla and the game keeps asking me to make it more challenging, but I honestly can't even be bothered to even care about the fights. It's the same zones and same enemies over and over. I'm just here for the epilogue story of the base game. Could have handled it in a different way imo.

Oh god, that voice Peter puts on during the Venom suit moment was, cringey AF.

Like, I am enjoying it, but some parts are just, oof.

is a masterpiece and I haven't had vibes like this from a game since my first play through of Slient Hill 2.

Anything by Remedy in this shared game universe is my jam.

I have been deep into , and while I know the Phantom Liberty update brought a ton of fixes, I gotta say; I did not care much for the Phantom Liberty DLC.

Oh, it's well written and the acting is top notch, but the events and pacing are far removed from what makes the this world great: The city and V's place in it.

Nothing more from me, don't want to inadvertently spoil anything, just once you're through it and back to main story, you might feel like I did about it.

Raiding and raiders in 's equate to being handed a ticket to an amusement park where you can ride every ride for free and as many times as you like; but ride the one big fast rollercoaster the entire time.

Can gaming laptop makers maybe think about offering discrete proflies?

I don't always want my laptop to look like a area 51 alien escape trying to lay low and hide from the feds.

I love that the term "Midcore" has begun to really take root, particularly in MMO's because it's invented by the "Hardcoreยฉยฎโ„ข" base because it makes them feel better about themselves.

Regardless to the fact that the supposed midcore make up the majority and have logged more hours in the game than any of the self-labeled hardcore by a wide margin.

Almost like they needed to create a wedge because in the grand scheme, the hardcore, are casuals.
