I’m back visiting my friend who’s living with heart failure. She spoils me when I’m here so much I feel guilty. But she wanted lobster so sho bought and I bbq’d. Last night bbq, tonight lobster rolls. Hubby was invited but didn’t want to drive an hr each way. His loss! 🙂

My thanks to every Veteran for your service and dedication to democracy and our constitution.

And much gratitude to my husband for his 3yrs 5mos 47days on the flight deck drenched in toxic fuel. He’s paying a big price for it now.

My giant “livestock guardian” dog is lucky we didn’t put her out in the fields! She’s terrified of the wind. I tried to sooth her for hours today. It was blowing crazy hard here.

Much sadness here today. And a lot of gratitude that hubby made the trip home a few weeks ago.

My 90yo MIL is in Intensive Care after a series of strokes. She’s ready…we’re not. Dad won’t last long after Mom as he has stated clearly he’s waiting for her to go first. 🥺

We know they have to go but damn it’s hard when it’s happening. Hubby is pretty stoic and at peace because they said goodbye when he was there.
