So, my dog sitter is the Saint Roch of the modern era, and, as she does, she collected a runaway pup who was out in the road with its sibling/buddy (she couldn’t catch the brother). The dog had a collar, no tags, but quite clearly belongs somewhere. She’s checked with surrounding homes, took to the vet to scan for a chip (none), and is now putting up fliers. I offered to post a picture and her info on Next Door even though I live a town away from where the dogs were. I get a notification…
@LKNWoman the dogs running free threads can be so ugly here. People are really nasty!
I joined Next Door just for the giggles. It absolutely kills me not to reply to the incessant, "Were those gunshots?" posts (on fireworks holidays mostly).
IT'S BEGUN! INCOMING! RUN FOR YOUR LIVES!
And then sit on the porch with a glass of wine and watch. 😈
@Cosmichomicide @LKNWoman I thought I could lurk but found some of those people triggered me so bad I had to quit! My daughter and her hubby’s family are area icons so I need to keep my mouth shut. And it saves my BP from spiking. 🤭🤐🫥
@NorCalCherylLyn @Cosmichomicide I have blocked more people on Next Door than I have any other site! 😂 That tells you everything you need to know! It makes me grateful for the neighbors who are actually near me whom I know. But I’m like, “What happened to the rest of y’all?”
@LKNWoman @Cosmichomicide I think they’ve gone collectively nuts! They forget they’re talking to actual neighbors. 🤦🏻♀️
@NorCalCherylLyn I HATE Next Door and have it filtered to JUST show lost pets. I immediately blocked and muted those 2 commenters. Honestly.
