Think of the 57 Chevy Bel Air, or the iconic Studabaker front end.

Then there's the Chrysler Building Or Empire State... One World Trade Center... All are industrial designs, all set tones for their era.

@agunn THere's some pretty damning stuff in there. Just saw a news report on it... When told that Pence was surrounded in the capital Trump said "So what?"

Stuff that really would make me double take if it were anyone other than Trump saying it, really.

@holon42 I would like things to be different, and if he comes to a point where he can move past that, or he needs help I'm right here for him, but this is the reality of the way things are right now.

I don't want to be harassed or assaulted of course, and that's one of the reason I'm staying close, but if it does happen I hope I can rise to meet that challenge with mindfulness and compassion.

My brother is one of those folks that is quite hostile to trans folks, and he's in law enforcement, and I think my last few interactions with him have granted me pause.
