When I was on the PCT just north of Truckee, with the wildfires everywhere, I ended up in a very quiet spot as a lot of people were evacuating and going around, something I eventually had to do.

But that night, just after I got the call that my intended destination was about to burn, I ended up in a large campsite that seemed quite eerie for being so empty.

I remarked to myself it seemed like it was fresh out of a horror movie.

@MLClark I know from my own journey how hard it can be to overcome those still small voices within that roar with all the conviction of a hanging judge.

Within the storm, or outside of it, you are always loved. And while you may have to endure those thoughts, the love and care that is held for you shall remain like an unweathered stone waiting for the sun to return.

You are worth patience, and kindness and love on your worst day, even though you may feel otherwise, it is none the less true.

It's a joyful time for music for me. Two of my favorite Bands are releasing new albums at the end of the month, and releasing in the first half of 2025, VNV Nation has announced a new album release.

@Museek What an incredible soul. Grief, I have found, is the shadow of love. The more you loved someone, the more of a shadow it can cast.

Of all the people I have lost in my life, I have felt the same wish as you each time.

I wish we could talk just once more, have one more moment together.

I find in that all the more reason to treasure each one of the wonderful souls that grace my life in this moment.

@Museek I join you in the honoring of his memory. That you speak so highly of him only tells me we are all diminished that he is not still here among us.

I think Trump has lost his mind... like, not just being very angry, but literal senile dementia...

He's confusing dates too, telling people to vote on January 5th, which... yes please tell your supporters to vote two months after the election... I'll take it! but... like someone needs to check on crazy grandpa because I think he might be really crazy.
