Yesterday was Skylar's death anniversary. Some of you remember him as Ravensblood here in CoSo
#RIP to my sweet friend.
I will never forget all of the laughter, music, road trips and creativity we shared.
His sudden death tore a hole in my heart like nothing I have experienced before and I miss him, dearly.
@Museek I join you in the honoring of his memory. That you speak so highly of him only tells me we are all diminished that he is not still here among us.
May his Gods guide him to his next journey and see him blessed.

He was planning to come over so it was especially hard. We’d just lost an elder who had adopted him. The dog in the photo is Odin.. a huge and silly loveable dog with two different colored eyes.
Skylar was mixed native and Scandinavian, too and spoke Swedish. He was full of surprises.. one of a kind. It was very shocking, to say the least. I wish we could have a do-over.
@Museek What an incredible soul. Grief, I have found, is the shadow of love. The more you loved someone, the more of a shadow it can cast.
Of all the people I have lost in my life, I have felt the same wish as you each time.
I wish we could talk just once more, have one more moment together.
I find in that all the more reason to treasure each one of the wonderful souls that grace my life in this moment.
