AND the teachers need to emphasize the importance of every single vote counting. If we continue to push the rhetoric that one's vote is worthless then why make the effort to get off one's ass? Prior to getting the job I have, I interviewed with a company that worked for DTRA (Defense Threat Reduction Agency). The sole purpose of this job was to take highly specialized reports written by doctoral level analysts and recreate them using language at a 6th grade reading level. During the interview they stressed that point AND that I'd help create videos.
