Kiddo’s #anxiety was amped up today, revisiting worries we had fed to her imaginary robot trash dog. 😓 Not the most emotionally difficult ones, but certainly ones we worked hard to kick. Like trusting her eyes to tell her there’s nothing in or on her hands instead of needing an adult to verify. She was playing with her gemstone collection and needed me to tell her there were none in her hands before she ate her snack. Same with the wrapper for her babybel cheese. 😣

If everyone is going to vote for whomever the Dem candidate is, why put ourselves through the trauma of changing now? I also wonder about the coincidence of the SCOTUS decision and the drumbeat to remove Biden. And, should Joe not survive four more years, we'll have Kamala 🤷🏼♀️ Stop the trauma, stop the drama.
So my dental plan was dropped by my current dentist. Scheduled today with a new dentist. I am cautiously (very very cautiously) optimistic. This dentist’s reviews make them out to be one of those 🦄 dentists who accepts my crappy dental insurance and isn’t part of a thinly-veiled-fraud-scheme, heartless dental chain.

As parents it made our hearts soar to hear how today was the best day ever for the 6yo. But a whole lot of intrusive thoughts and worries involved in a place so crowded and loud and chaotic. Kiddo checked in a lot with her code word and before bed we had to feed a big worry to the robot garbage dog. 😮💨 #Anxiety is the worst in someone so young.
