Finally heard back from my Endo. Good news and bad news....

Good news is that she is starting me on Estradiol Valerate 20 mg every two weeks which will hopefully help.

Bad news is she won't start me on Progesterone as she claims there isn't enough data that shows it helps, and it can cause additional risks of clotting. She did say that if things I'm not happy with the results going forward she'd consider it, but not holding my breath

@tyghebright I'm hoping with time things get easier. Way back when I first introduced the kids to the real me, my oldest liked the pink because it wasn't as scary as the dark red. It's so tough to know how my kids actually feel

1st it was my E &T levels, which hopefully my doctor can help with

Then the fact that my kids are struggling with me being trans. They like the "pink" lipstick because it doesn't look like I have anything on, according to my ex, which gets interpreted as they don't like it when I dress as myself

Then my ex crying about how much I've changed & how much I hurt her 😔

Then the massive weight gain cuz of the depression 😑 Such a crappy circle

@lenaoflune I'm on 6mg of E in pill form and she says she won't go any higher. She asked how I felt about the patch, but told her I'd prefer the injections. My E is only 39 and that's after being on 2mg the first 3 months, then 4mg the following 3 months, and now 6. So it hasn't done much of anything. My T just dropped to 183 which is slightly lower, but again way off from where I need to be.

Def trying to force a smile on this rainy Monday 😑 Got my 9 month test results back and my E moved a few points higher, but nothing major and my T dropped a little more but again minor. Hopefully the doctor will give me some good news and get me on injectable E and progesterone.

Well the next domino just fell as the Missouri AG just banned HRT for adults now!!!! All those people out there saying this was only about the kids.....it was never just about the kids, it was about all transgender people ☹️

Sad and heartbreaking for all the transgender people in Missouri and I'm sure the other GOP controlled states shortly.
