Def trying to force a smile on this rainy Monday π Got my 9 month test results back and my E moved a few points higher, but nothing major and my T dropped a little more but again minor. Hopefully the doctor will give me some good news and get me on injectable E and progesterone.
@researchbuzz You're lucky π€£ temps dropped from 80's back into the 50's this week. You'll get your sweater dose for at least another week π
@MarvelousMadi13 Ah me, I have been virtuous for so long, and then late in life I have suddenly become a Sweater Perv π π
@researchbuzz Sweaters are versatile, they are a comfort thing but also can be stylish π
@MarvelousMadi13 Nowadays I wear a lot of polo shirts, since they're easy to escape from if I burst into flames
@researchbuzz I used to love polos, they are very versatile as well and great for golf
@MarvelousMadi13 Titrating hormones is tough, that's for sure. My doctor took the approach of "well, you're fine on 2mg os so let's move up to 8 and see where we end up."
That ended up with a E in the 700s and a T around 11. The latter is good, the former not so much :) So we're trying progesterone and 6mg os to see if we can get to something more reasonable.
But lowering that E dose sure made me grumpy for a few days...
@lenaoflune I'm on 6mg of E in pill form and she says she won't go any higher. She asked how I felt about the patch, but told her I'd prefer the injections. My E is only 39 and that's after being on 2mg the first 3 months, then 4mg the following 3 months, and now 6. So it hasn't done much of anything. My T just dropped to 183 which is slightly lower, but again way off from where I need to be.
@MarvelousMadi13 Goodness, that's surprisingly low for 6mg o.s. per day. Injectable might be the way you need to go, then.
That's really rough :(
@MarvelousMadi13 There are pearls, some honey hair, and I SPOT A SWEATER. All is well. I would give you all my E if I could but I'm at the time when I'm running it out. π
