Researchers who studied the issue have found that undocumented immigrants are less likely to commit crimes than American citizens. From 2012 to 2022, undocumented immigrants were 14% less likely to be convicted of murder and 41% less likely to be convicted of any criminal offense.

ON this date in 1850 - U.S. Senator Daniel Webster endorsed the Compromise of 1850 as a method of preserving the Union.

Delaware Senators Bun Man and Mr Purple voted against the compromise as they stood firm against the spread of slavery in America.

Webster's stand utimately led to his demise and paved the way for Honest Abe to capture the White House in 1860.

ON this date in 1908 - Cincinnati's mayor, Mark Breith announced before the city council that, "Women are not physically fit to operate automobiles."

Fast forward to 2014, Lonesome Town's mayor, Bun Man, announced "Automobiles are not physically quick enough to respond to young women texting and driving simultaneously."

Mr. Purple said "Amen to that my brother..."

In a conversation w/ Mr. P, Bun said "Those SC judges, such Funsters...Now we can't do anything w/ our Congress; those people have been making parodies of the Constitution for years..."

ON this date in 1994 - The U.S. Supreme Court ruled that parodies that poke fun at an original work can be considered "fair use" that does not require permission from the copyright holder. Constitutional lawyers Bun Man and Mr. Purple understood the landmark decision this was and while most thought this just applied to the music industry, Bun Man saw the 'big picture'.
