My wife asked me why the bottle of wine we bought yesterday was half empty.
I said because she is a pessimist.
IT'S ALL IN THE BUYING...
There IS no problem solving any of your problems, just go to your local bookstore...
I went to a bookstore and saw a book entitled "How to solve 50% of your problems".
I bought two copies.
(I think this was stolen a while ago from @peemee )
Similar research by Michael Light at the University of Wisconsin found lower rates of "homicides, sexual assaults, violent crimes, property crimes, traffic and drug violations" among undocumented immigrants.

Morning Peeps,
Fighting Lies with Logic, it's a Sisyphean task.
From Judd Legum on Biden's Immigrant Crime Wave
Researchers who studied the issue have found that undocumented immigrants are less likely to commit crimes than American citizens. From 2012 to 2022, undocumented immigrants were 14% less likely to be convicted of murder and 41% less likely to be convicted of any criminal offense.

Morning,
ON this date in 1656 - in the American colony of Virginia, suffrage was extended to all free men regardless of religion.
Bun Man always said "Leave it to men to provide some freedom for other men, but it will take strong women to provide true egalitarianism to all Americans..."
(okay, so Bun is pandering to les femmes but it's what he does best...)
In a tragic result, Texas logged 25,000 rape-related pregnancies since Dobbs. The human toll that outlawing reproductive rights takes is coming home.
The first rule of politics: There is nothing like witnessing personal injustice to mobilize one. Life, liberty and all that jazz is on the line for women and girls. (Minors have it even worse.)

ON this date in 1850 - U.S. Senator Daniel Webster endorsed the Compromise of 1850 as a method of preserving the Union.
Delaware Senators Bun Man and Mr Purple voted against the compromise as they stood firm against the spread of slavery in America.
Webster's stand utimately led to his demise and paved the way for Honest Abe to capture the White House in 1860.
The Boyz always knew what was right and they had the fortitude to do it.
ON this date in 1908 - Cincinnati's mayor, Mark Breith announced before the city council that, "Women are not physically fit to operate automobiles."
Fast forward to 2014, Lonesome Town's mayor, Bun Man, announced "Automobiles are not physically quick enough to respond to young women texting and driving simultaneously."
Mr. Purple said "Amen to that my brother..."
ON this date in 1994 - The U.S. Supreme Court ruled that parodies that poke fun at an original work can be considered "fair use" that does not require permission from the copyright holder. Constitutional lawyers Bun Man and Mr. Purple understood the landmark decision this was and while most thought this just applied to the music industry, Bun Man saw the 'big picture'.
