Sometimes I cluck, sometimes I...
Morning Springers and Chickies,
Ken-Dogger: Whoa Nellie, good run…
Nellie: You know it was, you see me panting
KD: I do, did I push you?
N: Dude, you’re always pushing
KD: I need to remember you’re still a pup.
N: And you need to remember you’re not a Spring Chicken.
KD: Okay, I do need to vary my training.
N: Learning is never a straight path…
KD: Cluck, cluck.

ON this date in 1942 - Julia Flikke of the Nurse Corps became the first woman colonel in the U.S. Army.
Junior Officers Bun Man and Mr. Purple were astonished by this development.
Bun turned to Mr. P and asked, "Does that mean we have to salute her everywhere?"
Mr. P replied, "Yes, it does, everywhere, even in private..."
Bun replied..."Only hand salutes?"

Morning Peeps,
Peace be with you and, hopefully, with those you encounter.
Tryin' to help the Little Mrs. out...
Yesterday I purchased a world map...
Gave my wife a dart and said to her "throw this and wherever it lands, I'm taking you for a holiday".
Turns out we’re spending three weeks behind the fridge.

Things that Help Me through...
I try to remember where the hate comes from, it doesn't reside only in that person, it permeates the surroundings...
As I mediate that environment, I try to remember not to express my disappointment/sadness/depression/anger in any of the same ways.
So far, I'm holding the line.
So...
I go to Smith's this morning (grocery chain with Kroger lineage, I believe) and I was getting some milk and Half&Half, and I thought, let me just get some cash.
I hit the cash selection button...
SURPRISE, SURPRISE, SURPRISE (and I don't really know why I was surprised, but...)
Up comes a pop-up screen informing me I am to be charged 75 cents for the exchange.
(So...add this to the column of shite you have to do just to access a product anymore, like tipping for nothing)

Pedro X. Molina makes a valid point...
“In future cartoons, I will address important differences between the candidates rather than focusing on their ages. But I want to start by making one thing clear: The fact that the main political parties haven’t been able to offer the electorate a new generation of political leadership in the last 8 years speaks very badly of both of them and ...

American sympathizers Bun Man and Mr. Purple began their 32.7-mile march from Seaford to the sea at Rehoboth.
Their defiance you might ask.
They wanted to symbolize their oppression at the hands of some of their ruthless female paramours.
Symbolism is all relative anyway.
Ghandi sent the Boyz a sympathy card...he could relate!
