ON this date in 1994 - The U.S. Supreme Court ruled that parodies that poke fun at an original work can be considered "fair use" that does not require permission from the copyright holder. Constitutional lawyers Bun Man and Mr. Purple understood the landmark decision this was and while most thought this just applied to the music industry, Bun Man saw the 'big picture'.
