The Boyz, flush w/ positive vibrations, rushed to tell the Premier what they had accomplished.
When informed, Mossadegh suddenly whirled around and said, "Executive power, not electrical power, you twits!!"
Mr. Purple, who decided to take the hit for this one, replied "Mr. Premier dude, you need to work on your English..."
Whereupon the Premier whirled around again and fell down, proving once again, power corrupts, or at the very least, it makes you dizzy...

ON this date in 1953 - Iranian Premier Mossadegh demanded that the shah's power be reduced.
Local enforcers Bun Man and Mr. Purple were on it.
The Boyz go down to the local power grid station and tell the head operator, the Shah's palace is now down to 50% power.
The operator understood and implemented the drawdown.

ON this date in 2000 - Ziggy Marley became the official spokesman for the Hemp Bar.
Fellow hempsters, Bun Man and Mr. Purple, had been in the running also, but the Bar decided they would 'trade' on Ziggy's name better than w/ the Boyz.
Their loss, the Boyz went on to be the spokespersons (PC) for the High Times Bar.
The Boyz commercials were so cute.
The cameras would pan down to them sittin' in a corner w/ this dazed look on their face and Bun would look up and say "What..."
Bun Man just said, "Did you just write Chad & Jeremy?"
I said I did, and Bun Man just cracked up.
Mr. Purple came to my rescue "Bun, dude, give the OWDWSM (Older white dude w/ selective memory) some slack, he did remember at least 4 of those groups, how much do you think he can remember from the 60s?"

ON this date in 1964 - The Searchers appeared on "The Ed Sullivan Show."
They were the first British Invasion group to appear on the show after the Beatles.
It was the Searchers' U.S. debut.
Internationally renowned Roadies Bun Man and Mr. Purple oversaw the Searchers' set-up for the show.
The Boyz witnessed the intensity which would become the British Invasion in the mid-60s (Beatles, Stones, Kinks, Who, Chad & Jeremy).

A Bun Man and Mr Purple story from 10 years ago...
ON this date in 1887 - Anne Sullivan taught Helen Keller the meaning of the word "water" as spelled out in the manual alphabet.
Mr. Purple and Bun Man, farm hands for Helen's Dad at the time, were there to witness this by the water pump.
They were awestruck when Helen signed back to Anne 'SERIOUSLY?'
And there you have it, she learned her first word and sarcasm at the same time, figures she was a woman.
