Ken-Dogger: Hey Bonkers, what ya doing?

Bonkers: Well, I've been walking around, and I've got this stuff stuck to my paw.

KD: Huh...

B: Huh, that's it, Huh?

KD: What do you want me to do?

B: You could get me unstuck. I don't understand how some stuff sticks and some doesn't. And I don't get why I need help to get unstuck.

KD: Sometimes, It's what we do which gets stuff stuck. It's also why we need each other to help us to the right togetherness.

B: I'm cool with dat.

Fans unruly...

Wait until they get fed more hate, look out next season.

I think I need to dust off my copy of Running Man.

She’s right. So we’ll carry on. We must carry on. But I, for one, will do so with far less hope. I thought Americans were better than this. I thought character mattered. I thought we wanted leaders we could look up to and be proud of. I was wrong.

But then I heard Kamala Harr is’ plea in her concession speech at Howard University. “The important thing is don't ever give up,” she told her supporters. “Don't ever stop trying to make the world a better place. … This is not a time to throw up our hands. This is a time to roll up our sleeves.”

The people who voted for him? I was reminded of the colorful California Democratic Party operative Dick Tuck, who ran unsuccessfully for State Senate in 1966. The next morning, Tuck opened his concessionary news conference with the now-famous statement: “The people have spoken – the bastards!”

This fallout in the USA is unworthy of time spent trying to figure out what/who we are.

MORE COMMERCIALS/SALES

We are nothing if not consumers.

I am reevaluating my role as a US consumer.

COMMODITY PRICING

As many of us save ourselves during the next few years, we will save energy, money, resources, friendships.

All that energy, money, resources, and friendships are saved at today's value price.

Our assumption is that specific value price will either stay the same or increase in value.

Many of you know what happens when you assume.

PSA... Might Be Useful

Whether you’re watching a movie or reading the news, it’s hard to avoid villainous, heinous, wicked behavior—but we all could use a few new words for the diabolical. Fortunately, there are plenty of older words ready for a revival. Please consider using the following out-of-fashion terms the next time you talk about the deplorable deeds of Dr. Doom, Dr. Evil, or that guy down the street who always walks his dog without a leash.

Oh Kurt, I can remember when it was fun to JOKE...

Historybook: Nat Turner is hanged after organizing rebellion of enslaved persons (1831); Armistice signed by Germany and Allies, ending World War I (1918); Armistice Day, now known as Veterans Day, observed for first time in the US (1919); American novelist Kurt Vonnegut born (1922); Demi Moore born (1962).

"The best jokes are dangerous, and dangerous because they are in some way truthful."

Saluting my fellow Veterans today, thank you for doing what you could to keep our citizens safe and in a democratic republic.

I am pleased to be part of this group.

The percentage of veterans alive today who served in World War II is less than 0.2%. While the vast majority of veterans are US citizens, citizenship is not a prerequisite for enlistment; as of 2015, noncitizens made up less than 1% of veterans.

Morning Peeps,

Veterans Day

Today is Veterans Day, commemorating Armistice Day at the end of World War I.

There are 15.8 million veterans alive in the US today, a figure representing 6.1% of the adult US population. Veterans have served during wartime and in peacetime, with roughly one-third having served in the Vietnam War, one-quarter in the Gulf War, and 28% serving since 9/11.

While a 37-year Veteran of US Military Service, I will not be attending Veterans Day observances on Monday.

I find it terribly upsetting that I would be unable to look upon or speak with WWII veterans (some are still here) and relate that their comrades in arms essentially died for nothing.
