I am pleased to be part of this group.

The percentage of veterans alive today who served in World War II is less than 0.2%. While the vast majority of veterans are US citizens, citizenship is not a prerequisite for enlistment; as of 2015, noncitizens made up less than 1% of veterans.

Veterans Day

Today is Veterans Day, commemorating Armistice Day at the end of World War I.

There are 15.8 million veterans alive in the US today, a figure representing 6.1% of the adult US population. Veterans have served during wartime and in peacetime, with roughly one-third having served in the Vietnam War, one-quarter in the Gulf War, and 28% serving since 9/11.

While a 37-year Veteran of US Military Service, I will not be attending Veterans Day observances on Monday.

I find it terribly upsetting that I would be unable to look upon or speak with WWII veterans (some are still here) and relate that their comrades in arms essentially died for nothing.

I got it, they're already priming the pump for the next time Liberals think they can live in the same country.

As Trump’s other policies increase the rate of inflation, that will also spook the Fed into tightening money. Higher interest rates not only slow the economy; they themselves are inflationary because they raise borrowing costs on things like mortgages and auto loans.

Within broad limits, increased deficits per se need not be inflationary. But the Fed thinks otherwise. If Trump’s budget includes large increases in the federal deficit, we can expect the Fed to cease cutting interest rates.

PERSONAL GOLF UPDATE

I'm now 3 years into playing golf. I've been fortunate as I've learned golf from great players, I've played with great players, and I watch a ton of videos on Golf.

Now, I do a league on Tuesdays, last week's results...
