BENEFITS OF COSO
Wow, I don't need to go to another site to see doomscrolling, there's enough of it here.
We ARE going to get through this together.
@Madken65 I'm asking quite seriously: are you ok brother? It's hard times right now.
Yep, getting back on this horse.
@Madken65 I'm glad. Let's try to turn mourning into dancing.
Maybe not dancing, but we have gotten through this before.
Do positive things, and share with others information about the things you found to do, instead of catastrophizing about the negative.
Like support the ACLU. Their lawyers are going to be busy. They're working for us.
If we care about CoSo Village, we need to support each other in the healing. Each person has their own wounds to heal.
Please be supportive.
There is no “snapping out” of grief. It is a process.
Nice to meet you. As a very blue dot in a red state, it's been especially difficult to focus on the "primary purpose" f2f when surrounded by those who shamelessly put the cult-of-personality before principles. So doggone grateful for this safe haven and the amazing community of which we are a part. ☕
@fugitive247 @LnzyHou @Madken65 Yes!!
I’m in Indiana. Oppressively red, but there are I
have progressive friends inside the rooms & out.
That being said the strong waves of fear and dread are real and talking to folks in recovery is helpful.
I’m fortunate because I’ve been living here 12 years & in AA for 35, so I found some like-minded folks in the rooms over the years.
May the Force be with you! ♥️
@Madken65
I am a worrier. My Grammy used to tell me to "quit borrowing trouble."
She taught me to save my energy for when trouble arrived.
My Grammy was wise.
The implosion is going to take a little longer than we timelined.
