Kiddo is back from his Italy trip. He had a good time.
He said he ate so much pasta that he doesn't want any more for the rest of the month. The bread was meh because it was to crusty and not soft like he likes it, but he also had the best pizza of his life in Assisi.
The house just got buzzed by a low flyover π±

My MIL is up again for a visit. She let me know the half bath needed a toilet paper restock.
Wife: um...what are you doing?
Me: learning how to pick locks.
Wife: why do you need to know how to do that?
Me: if you know, then you'll be a coconspirator.

@redenigma squeeeeee, it came today! Going to have to put it on the inside of the door due to the winds we get here. And I had a choice of eye color so I matched mine π

On the way in today I was stopped at a light next to a pick up that is used for construction with the two guys in it wearing the typical fluorescent yellow shirts. The driver was bopping and singing along to the radio with gusto. and the passenger was sleeping. Like 100% out, ugly sleeping with his face squished up by the seat belt.

Been a day. Got stung by a wasp.(I'm allergic) Luckily only a minor reaction, as the wasp wasn't the worst breed. So no tourist tour of the local hospital necessary.
But we did eat well!
We made herb & lemon chicken on a spit, some quick pickled cabbage and cauliflower& parsnip mash.
Big crepes for dessert.

Today's dinner: roasted duck breast, herb &buttetlr carrots and asauteed red onion, pine nut and rocket in red wine vinegar.
Washed down with red wine and a bottle of portwine for dessert.
