Boy. Sure seems like Amazon learned their lesson by rebuilding the same warehouse without a storm shelter again, and likely no change in internal policy.
Sure glad that 5 minutes of anger got some change.
Without consistent pressure and consistent follow up, you are being rage farmed.
Remember when everyone was so mad about how Amazon screwed over their workers and got six of them killed due to terrible safety and work place practices?
What do you think happened since Amazon upper management knew all they had to do was wait the new cycle out?
Did anyone even bother following up to see if Amazon even paid the insurance to those people killed?

^^The start of the US invasion of Iraq was almost 20 years ago.
Too many people still view PTSD as being scared of fireworks. Heck some view PTSD as a cop out, as a case of not being tough enough, etc.
We don't want a world where everyone is so numb to heinous things that we eradicate the inheritent kindness and love in this world.
It's tough to care for someone intent on throwing their life away for reasons they aren't entirely sure of.
Spread love as much and as often as you can.
It's 2023 and one of the better acknowledgements of past bad behavior is from :squints: ... Paris Hilton???
Ignore the headline, because when you read what she wrote, it's less an excuse and more of a "this is what happened, this is why I was wrong, and I know it's not right."
Maybe her publicist is really good and has her saying the right things, but I have watched PTSD ruin many good folks.
Good on her for talking about how those symptoms manifest themselves.

And now you'll never be able not think of the two together.
Michael Jackson (f. Toto as the backing band 😅) - Human Nature - Thriller
Listen to Africa first and then Human Nature and you'll hear it even if you don't believe it. You'll hear it in the syncopation and patterns. You'll hear it in the little things.
Africa - Toto
Did you know that's Toto, yes *that* Toto, was the backing band in Michael Jackson's Thriller album?
I'm really not kidding here.
I am glad I waited to finally see #Creed2.
Seems like it gets hated on but man they really put some complex, if not heavy handed, emotions in it.
I needed to mature a bit to appreciate it.
Sometimes when you see a movie is the most important part.
Hey CoSo crew! I’m working on a new movie being filmed here in Buffalo starting in March! We are currently running an Indie Gogo page to raise funds and take this movie to the next level. All sorts of perks are available depending on the type of contribution. You can check it out here:

Thanks in advance. Go Bills!
This lady, Tamara Mallory, has at least kept me laughing through a bit of insomnia. She's the "Everybody is so creative" lady and her videos are just the perfect response to all of the horrors of food videos you keep seeing.
But this one, right here, I haven't laughed this hard all year.
If you give me one 1 1/2 minutes of your time for 2023, let it be this.
If the Karl Malone thing pisses you off (and it should)
Remember in the state of Utah there is no statue of limitations, but in the the state Louisiana, the victim has 30 years from when they turned 18.
Being that he impregnated Gloria Bell when she was 12 and she gave birth at age 13 (1984) there are still some more years where justice should happen.
Being a hall of famer in a sport doesn't put you above the law.
Louisiana on the left. Utah on the right.
^^ Time for me to show some receipts again. Look at the dates here when I was telling you that Lift Every Voice was (and is going to continue to be) manufactured outrage.
The ironic thing is that Lift Every Voice is a song that in so many words says, "we went through hell, we see the promise of today, tomorrow is gonna be a better day, and we still believe in the American dream."
The later verses praise a Christian God for his blessings and asks for guidance.
You catching on yet?
Many people who are freaking out about the prospect of #AI replacing service jobs & the rise of #Chatgpt are acting as if this is an unforseen development.
Think back to the early 2010s - the most important battle in this war was fought via the $15/hr fast food culture war. It convinced a sizeable subset of boomers that using automated kiosks was the best way to own the libs. "Owning the libs" is a Trojan horse for myriad things.
FYI the pearl clutching over remote work is the same playbook.
I finally finished Xenoblade Chronicles 3 today and I can't come down off this afterglow.
I can't remember a time easily the last 10 years where I have finished a game and just lay in bed letting it all wash over me hours later.
If you are enjoyer of console RPGs and you haven't given it a shot, do so. I'm just gonna go back to sitting here and smiling and/or trying to not be wrecked emotionally.
Also Eunie is a treasure.
This is one of the more awe inspiring things I have seen this month. It may not look like much, but this is a 12 year time lapse of observing the star HR8799 (133 light years away). This was created by astronomer Jason Wang.
Those dots are the extra solar plantets orbiting their star.
Yes, you are watching 4 planets orbit a star from 133 light years away! I can't stop smiling.
Article is filled with stuff like this that lets me know this lady has never had to struggle a day in her life.
This is obviously someone who has had other people carry her weight at times and never once had to bear the burden of parenthood without a safety net.
She probably also has a bunch of quotes that u ironically sound like Lucille Bluth.
USMC Vet and dad. Sarcastic with a side of sweet and sour sauce.
