@estherschindler this is outstanding advice, some of which I have learned the hard way over several years.
But I could never translate the experience into works in such an amazing way as you've done here.
Bravo fam.
People comfortably tell you that every job interview is an audition. But few people tell you how an actor gets past the audition to get the part. In 2009, I wrote about lessons from a famous acting book.
(And GOSH I had fun writing that.)

@MookyTroubadour so turns out he was just doing it as a humourous post with a bunch of other pictures but that one picture was comedy gold and it eventually took off.
@SalK lemme go swim on over like I am Michael B Phelps to throw a few extra blows for good measure.
@Nerdygrrl absolutely. If ODB wouldn't have died from an OD, he would absolutely have been the hip hop version of Ozzy at this point.
@th3j35t3r Make Goatse Great Again???
If you have never heard the story about ODB recording his verse on Fantasy with Moriah Carey, you need to listen to that for five minutes of your life and die laughing. One of the most unpredictable and wild hip hop stories I have ever heard.
Ever wonder where some of the animal victims of that POS "Joe Exotic" ended up? We just spent a couple days at the rescue/refuge where many of them were rehabilitated and now live. They're doing so much better! It's an expansive non-profit animal sanctuary that's accredited and actually protects them (a place called Turpentine Creek Wildlife Refuge). I've never seen big cats this relaxed and comfortable!
@Jule_B mmmm curry.....
@White_Rabbit I didn't know you were a Jets fan and 😂
@invisiblecatmom Ma'am, I don't know you that well, but is it possible you're blaming the victim, when it was actually someone else not treating you the way you should be treated?
Just saying - I've met close to zero people who are shitty that think they're shitty, but lots of nice, but hurting people who tell themselves it's all their fault.
This is a real picture and it's absolutely amazing, from photographer Will Burrard-Lucas.
To quote Burrard-Lucas:
"To reveal stars, an exposure time of at least 15 seconds was necessary... However, if there was ambient moonlight to lighten the background, the animal would appear translucent. Here is an image that demonstrates the effect, although, in this case, I rather like the ethereal cat emerging from the night..."
