I didn't realize how loud my inner voice is, and how much i can articulate the *why* of certain things, or how even the smallest things in music being me joy.
It wasn't until this weekend until I realized how hard I must subconsciously try to keep that voice quiet, and how exhausting that must be.
@opie I had a feeling this wasn't going to go KC's way when I saw a report that Mahommes was dealing with flu like symptoms right before the game started.
You can grit our a lot of things, but having flu symptoms (likely fever amongst others) in 20 degree weather rewlly isn't gonna work out well.
@IrelandTorin tell that to all the c level execs where I work who refuse to take staffing seriously for the last few years because we're "working fine as is right now" while they ignore the massive levels of burnout right under their noses.

If you only have enough operations staff to just barely handle the routine/everyday stuff, you're going to be screwed when the crap really hits the fan (which it eventually will).
See, that mitigation role is vital - halting a failure cascade before it becomes disastrous. If you don't have enough trained, competent staff present to delay/halt the failure cascade... it can turn into a chain reaction of exponentially-escalating damage and disruption.

I miss the days when websites & companies were content to serve their niche well instead of trying to fulfill every possible need.
If I'm on YT, I don't need Tiktok lite.
If I'm on FB, I don't need bad Craigslist.
If I'm on Twitter, I don't need weird Twitch or sketchy PayPal.
If I'm doing business/banking, I don't need social media functions
If I'm streaming music, I don't need podcasts.
On and on and on.
Just do what you do well rather than haphazardly attempting to corner every market.

@Madken65 this is interesting but I view this less about wanting less sex and more about the wish for meaningful friendships and relationships.
Everything right now is so commodified and transactional that having a crew has to feel like this unobtainable goal, especially after the COVID lockdowns ruined the formative years of those relationships.
Sex is literally everywhere and behind every corner, but something authentic? Many find that elusive enough that only onscreen can fill that void.
