@SalK I absolutely love the earth 42 fake out so much. The film told you so many times it was gonna happen and yet I still was caught off guard at first because of how they played it.

I love that they kept weaving the 42 into everything to make it work, especially knowing that the reason that 42 is such a thing with Miles is because of Jackie Robinson.

My gosh did they do an amazing job on this film.

@SalK I saw it in a mostly empty theater because I coughplayedhookiecough but I can see where it would have been an amazing moment in a packed theater.

I was in awe with how they really let his mom come into her own in this movie. Didn't expect her to really have moments to steal the scene going into this.

I can't possibly unpack what I just watched.

Everything was so clever and I... I'm just swimming in my own thoughts right now.

I was worried the suits would ruin this thing I loved and they somehow were kept at bay.

I was a bit worried for the first 30 minutes or so and then I realized that this is a completely different movie.

And my god the emotion they packed in an animated film 😍

@Queasy all I gotta say is that is one of the most badass tattoos I have seen as far as artistry mixed with meaning.

Some people just are too self righteous to even appreciate the beautiful things in life.

Aaand we're all done. Everyone else gets to start eating but I get to finish the last 3 batches. 😑😑
