Howdy! Lol Hope ya'll are well or managing to stay positive, no matter what. That's my current mood, to just, BE! Hubs' appt went well; got some pain meds after having to convince Dr he needed em. "Of course his pain level's low right now; it's barely 8am(van came early)& he hasn't moved around today yet. Come home with us & SEE how much he's hurting later!" Addicts cause those needing strong💊 to be in pain unnecessarily. Anywho, I go soon for mine; ready to fight for mine too, but not 4Gabby's

Laying in soft bed(😘❤️!) while food cooks itself is a Godsend to me & Hubs! I love to just throw stuff in & experiment. Usually turns out great. Usually lol Using the slow cooker, not pressure setting, today. I use this cooker so much, will need a new inner pot & seal sooner rather than later.

I had/was afraid of the old pressure cookers & never used much.

Walked into pharmacy the other day. Lots of folks inside; some old, some young, lots White, a few Black. I passed an older Black man & he said "Glad to see you in here; you're one of us!"

Confused, I did a double take and said "Excuse me Sir?" ready to combat a racial thing.

He laughed heartily, knowing my 1st thought. He then pointed to his mask & repeated it as he looked around. Only then did I notice/realize what he meant: 'one of us' was those who still mask ! 95% in store weren't. Ugh

Texted my lil Sis other week to say hi. She told me she had COVID. Of course I called/told her all the worried big Sis stuff. She refused Dr visit, but was quarantining away from her Hubs. Next day, texted again to check on her. Hubs was in ICU! He has heart issues & more. Both are ok; he was released last Sunday. Both back at work now. Both work w/public. Both vaccinated, both wear masks. Felt so bad myself last week, I took test. Negative, but still feel off kilter. Be safe/😷; vaccines do wrk!
