@Joyinthecountry I hope you do as well! I am just up for no reason just listening to the quiet of the house. Hubs & 2 dogs fast asleep. TV on in bedroom & occasional traffic outside. Fridge is humming. Smart lights have dimmed; timed to tell me bed time, but I'm ignoring them tonight. Letting Husband rest; he's a light sleeper. Have to time it right though or he'll get out of bed to find me. After hernia surgery, I'd rather he didn't, so soon I'll go in there to keep him from getting up.

@Gramdma2011 Sometimes it's just hard to fall asleep. Especially if the mind keeps going even when the body is tired.

@Joyinthecountry Yep. That's my problem; I'm a serious thinker. At least I think I am😉🤣 Also waiting up to see if dogs will go back out once more or not. They have a knack for waiting until I've gotten into bed half asleep, gotten totally comfortably & closed my eyes before instantly jumping up, begging to go out. It's as if they know I'm not planning to stay awake a second longer. They're like little kids

@Gramdma2011 Very true! 🐕 Mine is laying on my feet right now, sleeping. It's cold and snowy out, and he hates going out in the cold, so I don't have to worry about that for now. 🙂
