@TrueBloodNet 🤔🤔🤔Just thought about this reminds me of when my husband & I first moved here. We had(have) an old 88 Lincoln TownCar. We couldn't find someone w/a 🚛 to move us & had no $ to rent one.
Refrigerator, stove, furniture, household items, our 3 dogs; we moved it all in several trips, at night, because, embarrassing 🤣

That ol Lincoln still runs, but parked for years. We soon saved & bought our 88Chevy Silverado which runs/drives to this day, even after being totalled/backyard repaired ❤️

@TrueBloodNet Reminds me of the Storage Wars lady who takes old battered junk & sees the transformation in her head & refinishes it into sellable artist influenced furniture. She makes some ugly, but a lot of 😎 pieces

@dietotaku ...to get to work, daycare if they have kids, adult care/aid if caring for parents; the rest for food & essentials.

A working poor class, even w/benefits, or w/multiple
jobs, struggles to keep a roof overhead & utilities on.

A nonworking poor class is in worse condition & basically stuck & often feeling hopeless. People w/no cash flow, Disabled, homeless, etc; people w/only a small fixed income, benefits only, or none at all. People who have no way to 'make a lil extra'.

Some "In tha hood" folks I know don't want to vote because they feel only richer (mid & high income) reap from it. All they ever hear is "Cut this, cut that", "They don't need to collect benefits, go to work" "Lazy, uninspired because, benefits, drugs, kids, etc", & "Yada yada yada"

These same folks work, pay well over half their income for rent & utilities, gas/ ...

@phase2 Had to have a serious fussing convo w/this couple😅; she was travel agency owner, he, lawyer. Threatened to quit if they kept doing my job AND paying me🤣! All I did was dust vacume/sweep, watch soap operas, play their piano. Snack whenever. Wait for their 12yr old son to get home from school, then leave.

They told me they thought I'd be upset and think badly of them if house was messy; they didn't want me to feel like a slave. I appreciated that, but told em I wanted to actually CLEAN!🤣

@phase2 I've had many jobs; cleaning lady was one. I used to fuss at my clients, & one in particular who insisted on doing the laundry, changing the beds, straightening everything in sight. House was always pretty spotless.

She paid well & either her or her husband would come get me/take home if needed. Bought me a keyboard. Tips were sometimes $100 bill(when they went to beach 2wks). Offered me Porsche & checkbook to go to grocery store for them(refused; I drove my beat up car I'd saved for)

🤔Gonna start a fund for myself/hubs; if Giuliani, Mr Trump, etc can raise millions for bad behavior after being arrested & w/his mugshot, for political & legal stuff, and to help spread misinformation, why can't we, ordinary folks raise just enough for needed things?

Ugh.I like our Prez, but his campaign runs on helping the middle class. I'd like to see a candidate who will champion/help/build the lower, poorer class. Used to be mid class; became disabled. Fixed income & only 1 of us can get✅

Been attacking trees again w/ battery pole saw; almost fell over small root😅 Falls could cause me intense pain & bruising, and/or send me to the ER. I just have to move around & DO something daily or I get too stiff and highly in pain. So, I usually tire myself out & end up in pain. Pain; a dirty little 4 letter word that irks me, but, a Dragon 🐉 will always dragon!

Hubs' B'day 2day; he's waiting for his daughter to come. No real plans; he's just glad to be sober & alive another year💜

@DavidSalo Wondering if someone will take the lead in implementation of this; I've heard some states are voting? /discussing? to keep him off state ballots. Will the Government rule on this, or will the majority of individual states come to a consensus that will decide?
