Greetings Fam!β€οΈ
Just saw dude in car pull up & add office chair left on curb to the top of his...hmm...π€is this even called a car at this point??π€£
Enjoy your day!
@TrueBloodNet Reminds me of the Storage Wars lady who takes old battered junk & sees the transformation in her head & refinishes it into sellable artist influenced furniture. She makes some ugly, but a lot of π pieces
@Gramdma2011 :) Nice!
@TrueBloodNet π€π€π€Just thought about this reminds me of when my husband & I first moved here. We had(have) an old 88 Lincoln TownCar. We couldn't find someone w/a π to move us & had no $ to rent one.
Refrigerator, stove, furniture, household items, our 3 dogs; we moved it all in several trips, at night, because, embarrassing π€£
That ol Lincoln still runs, but parked for years. We soon saved & bought our 88Chevy Silverado which runs/drives to this day, even after being totalled/backyard repaired β€οΈ
@Gramdma2011 There is truth to the belief that older cars were made better. Now if we could only convert them to energy efficient vehicles. :)
But seriously -- trashpicking satisfies that primal hunting and gathering urge so well.
@EileenKCarpenter @Gramdma2011 it really does! I've found so many awesome things. I first addition Winnie the Pooh book, whole silver tea service sets, a diamond ring, grandfather clock, the list goes on
Sounds like you could run a very successful second hand shop with that luck.
@EileenKCarpenter @Gramdma2011 just picking in the bougie neighborhoods during seasonal cleanup. Lots of antiques too
@Gramdma2011 My OCD wants me to burst out with the Beverly Hillbilly's theme song!
"Come and listen to a story 'bout a man named Jed....."
@FoxFire π€£I see a world of strange stuff just sitting on my porch!
Not the car you want to be behind on the road!
@tyghebright π€£For sure! Wouldn't really want him behind either; if something falls forward & bounces...π€·ββοΈπ¬
@Gramdma2011 These guys rock though! They will repair or repurpose this stuff. So glad they aren't going to a landfill.
