Well, at least one of the girls at the kids' Homecoming, who's drink was spiked, had Fentanyl in her system when the hospital tested her. 😐

If that were my kid, I'd be lawyering up and hitting the school district with everything I had. Heads are gonna roll!

@Agatha I tried to tell them, and they all admitted I was right, after the fact. But they also admitted their desire to go was FOMO based...So, maybe they won't want to go to anymore.

Heads are gonna roll, though, for the drink spiking. If it had been my kid, the school would be a pile of ashes this morning.

Kids enjoyed Homecoming for the first hour, then they said it was too hot, too loud, one kid had a seizure due to strobe lights, some other kids passed out due to the heat, and two girls got roofied. AT THE HIGHSCHOOL DANCE.

Hubbs found these mushrooms (?) in the yard today. Can anyone ID? Located in western Washington.

There are lots of other mushrooms in the yard, but these are the only ones that look like this. 🤔

@KazzyH I can't think of specific foods that are a local thing, but there is a small burger chain called Dick's. lol "Grab a bag of Dick's" is a thing here. It started in Seattle, and has slowly branched out to a couple other cities in Western Washington. Good, cheap burgers and they pay their employees fairly. I wish one was close to me!

@ACG2 Oh, I've already got one all grown up and moved out...So it's not my first rodeo...lol I'm not looking forward to the monthly car insurance bill when they are both finally behind the wheel...! Ugh.

Homecoming for my 16 and 17 year old today.

Grateful for my husband, who is handling it all, cause neither one of the kids can seem to make a plan and stick to it. lol He's better with the last minute changes, while I get frustrated.

(Neither one is driving yet, so we still have to schlep. 17y/o has no desire to drive, 16y/o is still finishing up drivers ed)
