Finally, I’m getting my life back. There is still something to do every day for the house (today I planted in my containers which are now my gardens), but I also made it to pickleball and got invited into a ladies group that plays every Tuesday evening. I was out on the pickleball courts on a warm spring evening feeling blessed to be back on the courts. I had to give up on tennis years ago because my body didn’t cooperate but so far so good with pickleball.

@TheresaVermont thanks for sharing. Looking forward to listening. And it looks like a great podcast do added it to my podcast collection.

@th3j35t3r dang, what aren’t you good at? Thanks for sharing these. I love the feelings your style provokes. Haunting, almost. I can’t quite find the word. I don’t think there is an exact word. Just wonderful, J.

PS, I found that a lot of the programmers at IBM were artistic - on paper, in bands. One guy even made his own guitar. Pretty cool left-brain, right-brain talents. It always amazed me.

@stueytheround @Museek I bow to you in the sensitive smell games. 👃 Through plastic is next level. Although, having said that, those plastic poop bags don’t contain the smell. 🤢

@Museek this sounds so similar to how I’ve experienced it!

@Museek that’s really interesting. I have a sensitive sense of smell so I’ll often ask my husband if he smells something (like something burning) and he doesn’t. I think the last one is that I smelled exhaust and we figured out a truck must have gone by (but when we lived far back from the road).

But that’s different from what you are experiencing. For me I have something like that with hearing. I think it’s an intuitive thing but sometimes it sounds so real!

@Maude the first part of the sketch is better than the second half. But her expressions throughout crack me up.

@Maude I was just watching a bunch of her old stuff on YouTube. Laughing my head off. She’s a gem. This was one of them… youtu.be/IxiQDqb_9r4

@cassandra17lina @CinnamonGirlE peaceful looking back yard! I got there, too, only wound up moving, instead. We had way too much land to maintain. Now a young family is doing it. I had to go back to drop something off and pick up errant mail and they were out tending a fire and doing spring clean up.

Haven’t been on here much lately. Deep into , on the moving-in side. Little by little things are coming together, while also making time to plug into the new community. My favorite part is discovering the wild places with my dog Buddy.

We’re basically living in a construction zone for the rest of this year as they finish up the last homes in the community. Fitting, because it’s rather a construction zone on the inside of our house, too!

15 hours yesterday of unpacking. I was hoping the fairies would come last night to help a bit but we woke up to the house how we left it.

Oh well, fairies are unpredictable. What is predictable is the way my body feels after a 15-hour sprint. Ouchie.

I have now gotten into two convos with Xians complaining about the “they” pronouns. To which I said “God is a They.” At their protests I point out that “He” is Father, son, and Holy Spirit. What I realized I need to pull into the convo next time is the verse about God making mankind in his own image, “male and female he created them.”

They’ve both said they don’t know that they can buy into my argument but I know it got them thinking, because they really couldn’t argue against the trinity.
