I love rainy days. They bring coolness in the summer and the calming sounds of rain drops with the gentle rumbles of thunder. But my favorite part is how the lights play on the wet ground and how the grays make colors pop.

For a brief moment, I can pretend I'm home again, a small child looking outside with wonder at a world full of possibilities and magic.

@kel I wish more artists and comics peeps would join us over here, but honestly it's nice having CoSo to escape to when other socials get too much. Like coming home after going to a big busy shopping mall.

@nursefrombirth I know someone who was diagnosed with leukemia and went into remission after an infection about a year ago. She said her case was being studied for possible ca treatments.

Maybe something good will finally come from this awful virus.

I just got some bad news about one of our physicians, so taking a moment to reflect. Hope everyone finds some peace and joy in the day today. Life is short

@PaganMother Thank you, this was helpful. I recently moved with my adult kids and hit more challenges in the journey than we anticipated. Despite all my best planning, dreams and goals had to be put on hold. Doubt of my abilities on several fronts and fear are a big part of my present. It's good to have the reminder that it's only a temporary setback and that I need to just keep swimming.

I've been drawing a card from my tarot deck each morning (when I remember) to answer the question "what should I focus on today"

This morning I pulled the King of Pentacles and put it up on my board as a reminder. I'm still a relative novice at this, so hopefully I've got an the main points right, but I may hold on to this one for the next few days.
