@SalK Well, just finished the movie and got home. AI will never be able to write something like this… these films do such a great job balancing everything. Sentiment, humor, action, Easter eggs, culture and even a little satire. Another “feast for the senses,” like the first one. I love these movies. Can’t wait for the next one! In the meantime, the first two are almost endlessly rewatchable. #AcrossTheSpiderVerse

@SalK I cannot emphasize how great the first one was. Probably the best animation I've ever seen. Just a feast for the senses. And yeah, I am glad that they are going to see The Little Mermaid. He's never seen the original, but I bet he will love the music. Later this summer we're taking him to a dance class because music and dancing is right up there with Spider-man and Godzilla for his favorite things in the world.🕺

@SalK The question is when we will go. I'd like to go tomorrow, but not sure if it'll happen. I am hoping it'll be in theaters for a while if we don't make it tomorrow, bc he's going to see The Little Mermaid with his summer school class on Friday and I'd like to spread the joy of the theater around a little bit. 😂

@SalK I'm going to take my kid to see this. He loves all things Spidey and the first one was a masterpiece. I'll be amazed if this one can somehow be even better than the first, but I have to admit that my expectations are very high now!
