This Saturday night, May 13th, we're celebrating Mother's Day by streaming two films about moms in peril. First, at 8:00 PM US CST will be Hideo Nakata's (RINGU) DARK WATER (2002), followed by, around 10:00 PM US CST, Bong Joon Ho's (PARASITE) 2009 film, MOTHER.

As a big fan of this series, it’s fun to look back at the “monsters” in the series. I’d argue that you have to at least mention Nick Chinlund’s Donnie Pfaster, who started as one of the show’s creepiest killers and was later retconned as a demon. 🤷‍♂️ 1-4 on the list are pretty unassailable, imo.
