Something I want to say before we continue: Donald J Trump is not a first time offender. He's a first time felon. It's worth pointing out that he, his children, and his companies have been charged with crimes many times and in almost every case he has been found guilty. He has paid millions in fines, is currently liable for hundreds of millions more in fines, and is presently not allowed to do business in several states, and is not allowed to run charities or schools in any form.

I think my single favorite new music discovery this year so far is Lola Young, a 23 year-old from the UK who write truly in your face lyrics and strong songs to go along with them. When I first discovered her song "Wish You Were Dead" she had somewhere around 40,000 monthly plays on Spotify. She now has over 1 Million.

She's earned it.

I know many lawyers, and every one of them to a person find the reactions appalling. (We had a discussion over Bourbon on Friday night).

One that I know quite well kept on saying that it amazes him that the American People cant go after these people for the simple crime of Bad Legal Advice.

Ah, America.

I think the single most alarming thing the last two days have taught me is how many Republicans in positions of power have no fucking clue how the legal system works.

I'm guessing that for most of them, this is their first encounter with it.
