Yeah, I've definitely expected them to try that, or to force women to bring back the used one for registration of the results.
So now, instead of people talking with their trusted health care provider, their family members, their partner, and considering what all their choices are, they'll just be grabbing some pills as soon as the second line turns pink.

The news I heard was that everyone was dressed alike and the cops had trouble telling who was who.

Interestingly, the Dred Scot decision was about states right -- the right to NOT have federal marshalls come into free states like Pennsylvania and kidnap people they thought were fugitive slaves. (Not like they would return anyone who they kidnapped in error.) The Supreme Court said the states didn't have that right, and the South was cool with that.
And Republicans voted to support abortion rights. They bought the line that as long as their state protected it, it didn't matter what happens on a federal level.
The scapegoating and othering is the problem. If we only vote for those we agree with 100%, we will lose 100% of the time.
The folks telling people to vote for Trump or to stay home because Biden was not taking the side of the Palestinians, when Trump would support exterminating them, are missing parts of their frontal lobes or else they really just want a lot more Palestinian martyrs to use for publicity.
