I was notified by a CoSo friend that the attachment on the Louisiana House Bill 777 that criminalizes librarians for joining the American Library Association didn't work. I've converted it to an image.
Raise a hue and cry! Librarians doing their jobs and belonging to their national organization are NOT CRIMINALS.

I feel ya and agree completely!
They're READERS, that has to be subversive...
@Madken65
Librarians may be MAGA-ites worst enemies.
We are critical readers and realize sources matter so we don't fall for the crap being shoveled out.
I don't tell this to many peeps, but...
I let a Librarian quiet me down one time.
I was quieting.

@Madken65
Hopefully the librarian only needed to once, and you learned ...
I am not big on quieting -- learning is fun and can be noisy. I have silent study room if anyone is disturbed.
@MelissaHDavis Louisiana attack on librarians fails - for now, @KarenBays
@MelissaHDavis Eh? I'm sorry, but what's this? Loozy-anner wants to make it a criminal offense for librarians to join an association of librarians? No wonder they're perpetually in the bottom 5 in educational achievement.
So, what does this bill's moronic sponsor have against the A.L.A ?
@MelissaHDavis I would say whichever sewage-brained imbeciles drafted and supported that heinous, inexcusable legislation deserve *at least* a fine of $1000 AND imprisonment for two years with hard labour. It's only fair.
Or, y'know, since they clearly want to live in an authoritarian dystopia... give 'em a taste of their own medicine, take a page out of Stalin's book, build them a gulag in Alaska, send them there, and let them rot.
@MelissaHDavis
Criminalize the GOP.
