@Ehp2000 I'm a pagan polytheist. I don't think deities are super-invested in human business, but do have their own plans and those things can mix weird with human understanding. So, yeah, what you're asking probably happens. I also think there are a lot of strictly human factors. Emotional health, centuries of manipulation, etc.

#cosowriting - I write short stories. They're all set in the same enchanted forest, but are not a consecutive series. Different characters (some may show up again), different focus, etc.

@Sunshine1970 Did they make it to the World Series again?!?! They won for the first time just a few months after my dad died. Sometimes I like to think he was cheering them on from the Otherworld. He was at the first game in the Astrodome and stuck with them through the years of being "The Lastros" and "Disastros".

@SeanTrebek I've never played either. They aren't my style. My dad played them both in the 90s, and I had never seen him play video games before! Duke Nukem was more fun to watch him play.

@sfleetucker There's also a salamander, a pair of ferrets, and an elderly beagle in our home. Pet pics are a thing I'm happy to do!

@ScientistMel I saw somebody get temporarily banned over a post that was a pun, not a threat, and even the person they sent it to called Twitter out on it not being a threat.

I hear pet pics are loved here. Please meer Chester and Gatsby. Gatsby is the grey catsby. Chester is her best friend. He has two orange brothers who do have names, but we call them "Chester and the Cheetos" when referring to them as a group.

Had a big seizure again last night, and the after-effects are putting a lot of things on hold today. My seizures are non-epileptic, so the meds the doc tried with me did nothing.

I hate taking naps. Naps are probably going to happen today.

Knowing this platform doesn't want complete jerks, seeing people actually acting to help the new folks...this really takes the edge off of the "new kid anxiety".

@corlin 8 is something I tell people all the time. It's nice to see someone else understands it.
