A lot of speeches (and I didn't listen to all of them) I ended up tuning out. Not Vice President Harris's. I was on the edge of my seat, hanging onto every next word. It was a riveting performance.

You could not fairly listen to that speech and not see that Vice President Harris is ready to be President today and has been ready for a long time.

The Rs say that they believe in small government. But they sure always seem to think that they know the best way for you to bring up your kids, and in what way their behavior and sense of style reflects on your parenting skills; and they think they can judge you by whether you've had kids, and how many, and at what age; and that these should be matters that determine someone's fitness to vote or hold political office.

That kind of obsession doesn't sound 'small government' to me.
