Yes, this is a victory, but women should NOT be in this position in 2024. This is untenable. It's like guerilla warfare, continually fighting assaults on our rights on a state-by-state basis. We need to get rid of the GOP, deny Trump power, and then deliver a solid Democratic majority to ensure that our rights are restored and cannot be taken away again.

Governor Kelly stood up for the rights of transgender youth and vetoed a ban on gender-affirming care, and the legislature failed to override her veto. It's a clear victory for transgender youth in Kansas. The office of Governor is as crucial as any other political position.

I get a lot of questions about reforming the SCOTUS. It's complicated, and the process will require Congressional involvement. That means we will need SIXTY (60) Democratic Senators because the GOP will not cooperate under any circumstance. They corrupted it.

Reform or expansion of the Supreme Court will require sixty (60) Democratic senators. There is no way on Buddha's green earth that a Republican will support such reform of an institution they helped to corrupt. We know what we have to do.

The impeachment of Alejandro Mayorkas thankfully went down in flames in the Senate today. Once again, the GOP House has wasted precious time and resources when they should be governing, not indulging the Orange Blob's vindictive desires. The GOP must be voted out in a blue tsunami come November.
The GOP has done jack shit for the people since winning the House in 2022. The trend continues as MAGA Mike met with Trump over the weekend to announce more legislation we don't need for a problem we don't have. That's just the beginning. You'll see.
