My choir is performing this in a few days on a concert that will benefit the homeless living in the inner city.
It was first written for the victims of the 2004 Tsunami in Indonesia, originally a vocal duet and now a popular choral arrangement.
Its beauty is in its simplicity and pure emotion.

This immediately came on. I cranked it and smiled. It couldn't have been more appropriate.

I may just be accompanying student orchestras for this one, but any opportunity to play this magnificent instrument is worth it.
