@Alfred I have a battery, a small speaker, a NE556 IC, some resistors and a bread board. Please help me connecting it in a way to produce sound.

Fixed my beautiful 1970ies SABA 9240 receiver. I use it as the main amp in my recording studio. Had a defective muting relais due to corroded contacts. Unfortunately, modern relais have totally different connections and NOS components are sold out. So I made a small custom circuit board to get a new relais connected. Now the receiver is back to work, just in time, I will have recordings tomorrow.

@Esther Some truth in it but actually I tend to drink less and less beer. Right now I prefer something we call "Radler" (literally someone riding a bicycle), it's a mixture of beer with lemon-ade. Tastes really fresh.

I see these japanese dates frequently stamped on components of japanese synthesizers in my workshop. So I'm somewhat familiar with this. And I'm glad they do stamping parts because sometimes there is no other way to date a synth.

(Roland as a brand is different, they have a date scheme in their serial numbers)
