@QueenOfEverything
That's an awesome chair! I love that fabric. Well worth saving.
You might have a little success with felting needles but I would definitely find some felting wool to add some extra strength between the strands if I were to use that technique.
Do you think you could get a lining material behind the frayed areas as an extra layer of strength?
@StevePLMarquis Actually I see you've been doing that very thoroughly already so well played!
A couple of # to consider might include #CosoBrits as there are more of us here than it might first seem. I know we have another Islander (Shetland??) and several Scots including @ecksmc @mickcarty and others.
#Introduction 2024
I'm a permaculture teacher who feels enormously driven to act to facilitate empowering individuals and communities in taking the climate actions we need to succeed in regeneratively arresting our human induced climate change and restore sustainable systems to earth (and especially our Scottish bit of the planet).
@StevePLMarquis I think the top tip for finding "your tribe" so to speak is to keep posting about the stuff you're passionate about and when you do, use a relevant hashtag (#)CosoMusic for instance is what most folk use when posting songs/videos or just chatting about the subject.
Do that, and most likely your tribe will find you, instead of you having to search.
@Zevon Kate Moss meets Betty Boo (just doin the do)
@QueenOfEverything FWIW I saw someone here post a picture by someone who collected their cat's hair and used that to make a felt tophat *for the cat* π€£π€£π€£
@QueenOfEverything
It ought to work.
If you have felting wool of a similar colour you can use that and the needles to fill any gaps, I'm sure of that and if the colours are a good match, the repair could be almost invisible.
Otherwise, darning like fixing a sock might be a better option.
@p3R1n01D Whoopsie daisy! π€£
@MrGoat Because it's look bloody silly if it was half a meme.
I'm going to do some more #NeedleFelting tomorrow. Time to make a Santa bauble, ready for my Christmas tree.
@JGSchaeffer *set!

@sarcasmsign That would almost always be quite a distinctive scratching sound. I know. We have mice living under our house. They sometimes use our place as a shortcut! @Kaysymmetry
